The International Women’s Club of Bratislava provides a forum for 170 women from over 40 countries here in Bratislava to share in the culture and life of our host country, and most importantly to raise funds for Slovak charities with special emphasis on children, disabled people and primary healthcare projects.

This year we will be hosting already the 22nd annual Charity Christmas Bazaar on Sunday 25th November in Stara trznica in Bratislava. We are fortunate to have the support of the diplomatic community, the city of Bratislava and our distinguished honorary members, Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová, the spouse of the Slovak President, and Mrs. Jarmila Lajčáková, the spouse of the Foreign Affairs Minister.

Last year the Christmas Bazaar was visited by 4,000 people and we raised over 90,000 EUR. Thanks to these funds we have supported 24 different charitable projects across Slovakia and distributed over 65,000 EUR from Jan till October 2012.

You can no doubt imagine that the number and urgency of the requests we receive is increasing. But we can do nothing without the support and selfless dedication from our generous donors. Without them this good work would not happen. Therefore I would like to make an appeal to you to become a sponsor of our event and ask for your financial help. Please help us to continue making a difference to Slovak people in need by giving us a donation.
