Books for a cause

Looking for something new to read? Interested in donating to a good cause at the same time? Then visit the International Women’s Club of Bratislava’s stall (table 47) at the Bratislava Book Fair, Stará tržnica on Saturday 12 of June from 09:00 - 15:00. We will be selling a selection of quality used books for adults and children in English, Slovak, German, French, Spanish and Russian.

If you believe in recycling and raising money for a good cause come and visit our stall on Saturday 12 June 2021 and you’ll find a wide selection of books for a bargain. You may find some new recipe inspiration, stock up on your summer holiday reading or update your children’s reading book collection.

Every book you buy helps a child in need.

Money raised from this sale will be used for civic organisation DOMOV - DÚHA to cover summer camps for children residing in the crisis center Dúha-CDR. The International Women's Club of Bratislava is proud to be organising this joint event with the Rotary Club Bratislava with the support of Bratislava Accueil.

The sale forms part of the IWCB’s year-long fundraising campaign that celebrates 30 years of charitable action in Slovakia.
